Jacqui Couldrick is one of the most commonly referred to Physiotherapists by Orthopaedic Specialists and GP’s in Canberra for assessment and treatment of Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis.

Jacqui was Canberra’s first GLAD Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis Program provider. Jacqui’s real passion would be to ensure those who have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis are given access to evidence based treatment options such as exercise, education and dietary advice.


About Jacqui

Jacqui Couldrick (aka “Joint Pain Jacqui Arthritis Physio”) is an experienced physiotherapist who has spent the last 20 years working predominantly with sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions in both private practice and with the Australian Defence Force. She is currently working at Arthritis ACT consulting and delivering programs for those with arthritis. Jacqui is undertaking a PhD at the University of Canberra investigating the role of exercise therapy for knee osteoarthritis which she hopes to finish in 2024.

Jacqui’s particular area of interest is the management of osteoarthritis. Jacqui was Canberra’s first GLA:D® Program provider for people with Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis which she runs at both Arthritis ACT and online via Joint Pain Jacqui. She is now running a new program PEAK (Physiotherapy Exercise and Physical Activity for Knee Osteoarthritis) via Telehealth.

Jacqui is interested in public health matters with a particular interest in physical activity and getting people moving and exercising.  She completed a Master of Public Health through the University of Sydney in 2018.
